Making Financial Resolutions - Look Back at Last Year

College Board releases 2011-2012 College Cost Figures.
"The amount you can contribute to your IRA and retirement plan is limited by IRS rules. On October 20, 2011, the IRS issued the inflation adjusted limits for 2012. While the amount you can add to your regular IRA remains unchanged, what has changed is the income for determining the deductibility of traditional IRA contributions as well as whether you can contribute anything to your Roth IRA. The IRS has also raised the amount you can add to your 401(k), 403(b), and 457(b) plans to $17,000, up from $16,500 (the first increase since 2009)."
